Who can stay?

If you are a patient at Fresh Start Clinic you may enquire about staying at Fresh Start Lodge. If you are struggling with stable and safe accommodation, speak to your doctor, nurse or reception and they can start the process of applying for Fresh Start Lodge. We can usually provide accommodation on the same day, but it is important to note that there is an interview process for patients wishing to use this service to ensure the safety of all our residents.

What is provided?

At Fresh Start Lodge we provide a stable and safe space for you to stay during your detoxification. This includes:

• support workers to assist you with getting to and from appointments
• 3 meals per day
• a private room and bathrooms for most rooms.
• a common room with tea and coffee facilitates, tv and small library.
• walking distance from Fresh Start Psychology
• entertainment such as tv, books, paper, pencils

What to bring?

• clothes, toiletries and any prescribed medication (these will be held by staff during your stay)

How to apply?

Speak to your doctor, nurse and reception at the time of booking or at your appointment. If you do not have a safe and stable place to stay after your detoxification treatment, you may be able to apply to stay at Fresh Start Lodge. There is an application form and an interview with the Fresh Start Lodge manager.

Pre-intake to Fresh Start Northam

Fresh Start Lodge is also used as pre-intake accommodation for men wishing to enter into our 26-week recovery program at Fresh Start Northam. Prospective Fresh Start Northam residents complete an application form and are then assessed and interviewed by the Fresh Start Northam Manager to ensure they are suitable for the program.
